Carl Renezeder
Owner/President
Carl Renezeder has been intricately involved with all aspects of residential development. Throughout his career, he has held progressive positions as Superintendent, Purchasing Agent, Project Manager, Vice President of Construction and Division President. In 1996, he started his own homebuilding company and has built and sold thousands of homes, from custom estates valued at more than $5 million, to communities serving the needs of first time buyers and young families.
His unique perspective gained from working in all aspects of development and home building, from land planning to financing and marketing, has been applied to assure the successful direction of the company through various market conditions. Projects he has built have proven to be not only extremely well received with the public, but highly admired within the building community as well.
Catherine Visichio
Vice President of Finance
Catherine joined the Oakwood team in April 2001. As the previous Vice-President of Finance for SeaCountry Homes, Inc., Catherine has extensive knowledge of various aspects of the home building industry. Catherine’s main focus is on budget management and project profitability; however, her strong communication and critical thinking skills have guided the entire team in other areas of operation. She analyzes cost versus revenue, monitors escrow closings and prepares future cash flow projections. Her past experience in areas of finance, escrow, sales, and construction budgeting provide the depth this company required.
Sean Sparks
Director of Residential Properties
Sean Sparks has been involved with the sales and marketing of new residential properties for over thirty years and a licensed California Real Estate broker since 1998. Sean has always had a passion for Real Estate as it’s been his family business for many decades. He is a former Vice President of a new home sales and marketing company and with Oakwood Communities he oversees their sales and leasing programs. His duties include managing and implementing the marketing program. He also serves as the company broker of record. Sean’s history includes the management of successful sell-outs of over a dozen new home communities developed by Oakwood Communities and he’s also an accredited residential property manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management. His job versatility also includes the leasing of Oakwood’s retail businesses.
Doug Brooks
Vice President of Construction
Doug has over 29 years of construction experience. Over the years, he has worked with builders such as Kaufman & Broad, Costain Homes, Beazer Homes and Premier Homes. In 1997, Doug brought his field expertise to the Oakwood team. He currently supervises the onsite and offsite phases of each of our projects. His workload begins with the processing of plans and ends long after the conclusion of the warranty service agreement. He leads by example and has set precedence for the other field team members of establishing good relationships with homeowners and subcontractors.
Kim Napolillo
Director of Purchasing
As Director of Purchasing, Kim is responsible for contracting all consultants, land development and vertical construction trades. She has over 30 years of construction development
in residential and retail construction with extensive experience in developing budgets and maintaining costs through efficient construction techniques and value engineering. Prior
to joining Oakwood Communities, she has worked as both Director of Purchasing and Project Manager for various public and private home builders.
Corey Harpole
Director of Development
Corey is an experienced and accomplished real estate development executive, who has successfully spearheaded numerous high-profile, complex projects and initiatives. He has a strong background in development project management, master planning and handling complex entitlements. His day to day operations involve a multitude of responsibilities including entitlement acquisitions, permit coordination, budget administration, construction coordination, negotiations, and developing positive relationships with regulatory agencies and our business partners.
Mark Mandernacht
Director of Construction
Mark is a construction professional offering the benefit of 30 years of experience in various aspects of the construction industry. He provides excellent guidance and field expertise on single family, multi-family, custom homes, apartments and commercial projects. His focus on quality installation and on time deliveries ensures a successful build-out of each project we design. His strong management and customer service skills sets an example for his team. His consistent success in surpassing budgetary expectations and understanding of building logistics keeps our construction on the right course for success.
